Linda Lee Smith

She grew up in Lansdowne, Maryland. She graduated from Lansdowne High School in 1970. On May 1,1971 she married Terry A. Smith also of Lansdowne, MD. Terry and Linda met in fifth grade at Riverview Elementary School. Their romance blossomed in tenth grade. Terry proposed to her in the eleventh grade.

After high school, both held several jobs and started their family. Terry joined the Baltimore City Police force and Linda began in home childcare while raising her own family. Linda continued working in the childcare profession when the family moved to Eldersburg where they resided for 16 years.

Ultimately, they built a home and enjoyed a life in Littlestown, PA. Terry and Linda celebrated 54 years of marriage together. Linda enjoyed gardening, reading and spending time traveling with her family and friends.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband Terry Smith of Littlestown, PA., her daughter Terri Riley and her husband Tony of Littlestown, PA., her son Dale Smith and his wife Jill of Taneytown, MD., her six cherished grandchildren, Hanna, Hailey and Cole Riley, as well as Samantha, Owen and Ruby Smith, her siblings Sharon Forgan and her husband Reggie, Donald Happel and his wife Karen and many other family and friends.

The family will receive guests at Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park in Elkridge, Maryland on Sunday, September 21, 2025 from 11AM to 12PM at which time a Celebration of Life Service will begin.
