Linda Sue Wynkoop
March 8, 1963 – September 28, 2013
On September 28, 2013 Linda Sue Wynkoop, beloved wife of John “Dicky” Wynkoop passed away. Beloved daughter of Jack N. Fleeman, Sr. and the late Anna R. Fleeman, loving mother of Amber Delawder, L.T. Delawder and Kimberly Wynkoop. She is also survived by her sister, April Hildebrand and husband, Frank, her brother, Jack N. Fleeman, Jr. and wife, Hanna, and a host of loving family and friends.
Family and friends are invited to gather at Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, 7250 Washington Blvd., Elkridge, MD on Friday, October 11, 2013 from 3-5 p.m. & 7-9 p.m., where the family will gather on Saturday, October 12, 2013 beginning at 11 a.m., followed by funeral service at 12 noon. Interment will be held at a later date.
The family will gather for a luncheon at Greenbelt Fire House, 125 Crescent Road, Greenbelt, Maryland 20770.

Everyday I want to call you and just chat, just to tell you how my day went. Just to hear your voice. It's really is hard to understand why you were taken from this world so soon. I truly do not know why the heavens needed you so soon. I was not ready to say goodbye and I'm still not ready to say goodbye. I know that you are watching over all of us. Keeping us safe. I can't believe you're really gone. Not a day goes by without me thinking about you Aunt Linda. You were such an amazing person. Thank you for everything you did for me. I know you're in heaven with Mamaw looking down on me and keeping me safe. I had so much fun the last summer I came up and spent time with you, I really regret not going up there this past summer.. I have so many precious memories with you that I will treasure for the rest of my life, I couldn't believe what I was hearing when I was told that you were gone forever. I just broke, I was devastated.. I still am.. Going up to Maryland really will be even more different then it was last time I went.. I promise I'll come and visit you every opportunity I get. Well,Girlfriend!!! You know me always wait til the last minute!! I can say there will never be a day that goes by that I will not think of you, I think of you every morning @6:26am as your bus #0209 rolls out the lot,, and I keep waiting for you to open the door and yell out hey Girl!! Day by Day it will take for all of us to deal with you gone. My heart is filled with sorrow & hurt, even though you're not in our physical world you are with us all spiritually!! As I'm sure you can see you put 2 young ladies hearts together again in a new Friendship!! And believe me those 2 are a trip when together, kinda like you & April or me & you!! Keep an eye over all of us that have touch your life as you have touched ours!! I will never say GBye,, I will say til the next time we hit the dance floor!! I will see you again!! I am grateful that I had the opportunity to meet Ms.Linda and John they are two very awesome people that hold a special place in my heart . I will always remember all the fun times we had and laughs we all shared. I still can't believe Ms.Linda is an angel in heaven so soon when she was just next to all of us laughing and smiling at one point or another. she reminded me soo much of my own mother in a way only I could see and I am truly heart broken by her passing. How do you say good bye to your sister, your first best friend, your childhood playmate, your confidant, your guaranteed shoulder to cry on, your second mother? It's so very hard and I DON'T want to do it. I've been putting this off because once I put the words down I know it will make it real. I am heartbroken, hurting and still reeling from this tragedy of losing my sister WAY TOO SOON. I know I have many other close family members and very dear friends to lean on but I only had ONE sister. Just when things were looking up for her she was ripped from our world and taken to Heaven. I know God has a plan and I can't dispute it, but this still just doesn't make sense. I know I need to accept it and I will. Linda, I will promise to be there for Amber and L.T. for any support they need. I will be there for anything John needs, because I know in my heart you would do the same for me. We've had our differences, but we always worked them out because that's what family does. I'm so glad you and Dad were able to let the past be and reconnect. Watch over us because we're going to need it. Tell Mom we said Hi and take a ride with her in Big Yellow for us. I love you, my family loves you and save us a seat in Heaven for when we eventually meet again. RIP, my beautiful sister :'(

I didn't have the pleasure of knowing your mother, Amber, but if she was anything like you she was a very good woman. The apple never falls too far from the tree. It was such a shock to hear of your passing. I never realized how much of an impact you made on my life until I heard of your passing. It was such an honor and a privilege to know you.
