Getting to know Lucille through the White family gatherings was always a new adventure and fun experience. She always shared in conversations with her life experiences and opinions. She was a very special person and will be missed by all. I found great pleasure in knowing her and will cherish those memories. My sincere sympathy to her family.

Lucille was friend & family to us McClellans: Mom before she passed, Dad for so many more years after Mom was gone, and us kids, too, for over 40 years of being neighbors on Gorman Road in Hammond Village. I'll miss my visits to her house when I was home to see family from Florida. She was a cherished friend.

Grandmom,

I miss you so much. You were my role model. This coming spring will be hard without you. Admiring the hummingbirds as they return for the summer. Without you I wouldn't know how to crochet, which has become one of my favorite things to do. Not having you physically with us is hard but I know that you are with us in spirit. Grandmom, I love you so much and miss you terribly.

I love you always,
Bri

Wayne,
I enjoyed phone conversations with Lucille when she called to check on my mom and her cousin, Evelyn. She was always delightful and informative. I regret that I did not get to meet her and your family last fall. I know you will miss her and hope you find peace in your wonderful memories.

I always use to say to Aunt Lucy " When I grow up, I want to be just like you". She was so full of vim and vigor. I loved her so... And will miss her on holiday reunions.
