

Mike was born on April 9, 1948 in Baltimore, Maryland, to the late Raymond Brazner and Geraldine Brazner (née Purdy). He was formerly of Elkridge, Maryland and later made his home in Phoenix, Arizona.
He was the proud father of Taft Brazner (Kristin) and the loving grandfather of Aubrey Mae Brazner.
Mike is survived by his sister Patti Anderson and was preceded in death by his aunt Cecelia Shilling-Martin and cousin Dawne Koltko.
He was deeply connected to his extended family and held a particularly close bond with his cousin Hank Buberl who was like a brother to him along with cousins David Buberl, Rocky Buberl, Yvonne Lucchese, Yvette Thomas, and Mike Shilling.
Mike honorably served in the US Army as an aircraft mechanic. He proudly served in Vietnam from August 10,1969 till August 24,1970 as a flight crew chief on a U1A otter surveillance aircraft.
Mike enjoyed karaoke and could often be found visiting local bars, VFW's, and American Legion Post 107 where he loved singing during karaoke nights. He was an avid billiards and pool player and a devoted fan of baseball and football. Mike also enjoyed traveling especially trips to Maryland and Ocean City where he delighted in eating crabs and enjoying crab cakes. He had a passion for working on cars fixing, rebuilding, and restoring vehicles. Mike was sober for 26 years, an accomplishment of which his son was deeply proud.
He will be remembered for his loyalty, his easy going nature, and the pride he took in his family. His legacy lives on through those who knew and loved him.
