Neil E. "Poppy" Wilford, age 82, of Pasadena, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 24, 2026.Neil was born August 1, 1943, to parents Albert and Isabelle T. Wilford (nee Burgess). He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 57 years, Joyce (nee Lake); Loving Father of Neil Jr. and wife Jackie, and Karen Corzine. Cherished Poppy of Kaitlyn Merrill and husband Josh, Courtney Stevens and Husband Tim, Colby Corzine and wife Morgan, Jacob Corzine and wife Alexis, and Cameron Wilford. He is Great-Poppy to to Lily Mae, Blake Henry, Kali Marie, Benjamin Charles, and Cecelia Ann.
Poppy loved his family and always looked forward to getting together. Whether it be coffee on Sunday morning, cookouts, Thanksgiving dinner (his favorite holiday), or the weddings held in the backyard.
In keeping with his wishes, a Celebration of Life will be held at Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at MMP, Inc., 7250 Washington Blvd, Elkridge, MD 21075, on July 30, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, with the Celebration Service beginning at 1:00 pm. Interment private.
