Dearest Lori and children, my mother “Betty Jean” was the daughter of Beulah May Triplett who was sister-in-law to Aunt Ruth “Nelson’s Grandmother “ , and my grandmother LOVED Aunt Ruth dearly she told me that herself.  I’ve wanted to say something but wasn’t sure what exactly the Lord had in mind for me to say.   As I look through your family photos I see a family full of genuine love and plenty of joy.  Claudia and big Nelson would be so happy and proud of their family you and Nelson have raised in to the next generation.  My Great Aunt Ruth passed down to her grandson Nelson some of her best characteristics, and trust me she was a character… she was fun to be around and you always looked forward to seeing her again , as shall we all again some day💚God bless you Lori

August 2 2022 Robbie Schell  Family I met Nelson Christmas week 1984 an I said what a friendly Guy   Nelson  installed a clutch in my car  an it lasted the life of the car  I was  hard on clutch s Thanksgiving 1986 we all went up to our Grandparents House  in Pennsylvania  Nelson and  Tony brought there ATV  we had a blast riding them also we all had good time shooting skeet  when  Lori an Nelson came  back from there Honeymoon  Nelson  had us all doing Tequila slammers  out  in the Garage  Summer 2016 Me and My son ran into  Nelson at West Friendship Highs One  Morning  an we all hadn't seen  each other in  a long time  seeing Nelson Made our  day well Nelson  RIP  brother 

My memory of Nelson goes back about 53 years.  This very sweet, shy little red-haired boy was brought to Savage Elementary school by his mother in September of 1968.  It was his first day of Kindergarten.  He wasn’t sure he wanted to be there.  I took his hand and gently coaxed him into the classroom. His mother smiled. She was turning over her precious child to me❤️

My dad may have looked rugged on the outside; tanned freckled skin, stained worn hands, often covered in grease and sweat; but once you really got to know him (which didn’t take long because he would talk to just about anyone) you would get to know the kind, sensitive, and big hearted man he was on the inside. He wasn’t one to sit still so you often found him tinkering in the garage, cleaning cars, cutting grass, or welding a new piece of art. He was an amazing father and as expected was an amazing Pop Pop too. I wish we had more time with him. One of my favorite memories was when I got a 10 person van full of my friends and family stuck in my parents yard and I had to go in and wake up dad at 4:30am to tow us out. It was a foggy misty morning and he came walking down the yard in his T-shirt, cigarette lit, and chains hanging around his neck. I didn’t think much of it because I was used to my dad looking like that but when I heard how my friends reacted to how cool he looked and how cool it was that he just towed us right out with his big diesel truck it made me smile and I thought to myself “yea my dad is really cool”. He came to my rescue countless times and always with a smile and an “I love you princess”. He was so special and I will miss him every day. I love you daddy. 

My heart goes out to Lori and the family. Nelson was a super nice man and always had a smile on his face when he saw you.  My heartfelt  prayers to Lori and her family .



Nelson was such a kind hearted man who was loved by so many. I considered him family since the day I met him through my cousin Lori. I was blessed to share milestones with him such as being in his wedding to Lori, a Godmother to his first born, Katie and then Godmother again to his son Steele. He was always so kind to me and I loved how he called me “Kimmy” even though though I was a grown women. He was an honorable man who had so many talents. I know he will be looking over his family from Heaven. He will be missed! 



Our hearts are breaking for all of Nelson's family!! He was truly a good hearted, hard working, talented man!  He will truly be missed!!! I have very fond memories of riding dirt bikes with Nelson and his cousin, Debbie as a teenager. We  have wonderful  memories of going to the cabin with Lori and Nelson. Coming to Lori's hair salon, Nelson was ALWAYS  working on something in his garage.
We are  so very saddened and sorry for your loss! We are here for you all and you will be in our thoughts and prayers .Rest  in Peace Nelson with your Angel Katie!!

There are not enough positive words in the English language to describe Nelson.  This man would give you the shirt off his back and never ask for anything in return.  What a gentleman, family man…  brother, husband, father, grandfather, loyal friend.   Wish I had a fraction of his many talents.  "The last of a dyin’ breed”.  I had the honor of Nelson's presence sharing great times together for 40+ years and will miss him TERRIBLY.  Lori, Kelly, Steele, Faith & Donna your loss is indescribable and forever irreplaceable.  Nelson, I will see you down the road my brother.  Love you.

I remember Nelson as a friendly, helpful man who loved  his family.  Even though we did not have much interaction, it was easy to see that he loved  his family and was loved by them.   May the memory of that love sustain those he left behind.  

Nelsie was the brother I never had. I am so blessed to have shared so many memories with him. He had the biggest heart and his love was unconditional. He always had my back and looked out for me when we were growing up. We were always there for each other in good times and bad. He will always be in my heart and he will never be forgotten. I love you cuz. 

I am so blessed to have had Nelsie as my brother. He was the most loving, caring, and creative person I know.  He never let me forget all the times I made him kiss my feet growing but I know in my heart he loved me to pieces.  I will miss him so much and cannot express how much I loved him.

Sorry to hear the news about Nelson.  Our Deepest Sympathy go out to the Frazier and Pelligrino families at this challenging time.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Nelson was an Amazing, Awesome, and Excellent Friend and coworker. He would always have interesting and humorous stories about his start at the landfill and I was always impressed by how he was always able to have our equipment ready to use in good timing. I learned so much from him. Nelson always was humble and helpful. and go out of his way to help anyone .We at the landfill was blessed to have Nelson as part of our team. There will be no one else like Nelson. God bless him. My Deepest Condolence to Nelson Family. 

My heartfelt sympathy to the family of Nelson Frazier.  I worked with him at one point and he was one of the best!  What a great person he was.  Heaven gained another angel!  He will be greatly missed!  Howard County Highways sends their heartfelt condolences and prayers for healing to the family.

I remember Nelson coming over the hill on his lawn mower, with Katie sitting on his lap to cut the grass at the ranch. What a bond those two had. He is with her in heaven now, smiling down on all of us.

This is the part of life that I just hate. To Nelson’s family, we all grieve with you and our hearts are heavy for you. 
I’ve know Nelson since the Howard High days, Dorsey Speedway and cruising around in our hotrods. He was always a down to earth guy as everyone knows.
Nelson and I crossed paths last week while grabbing some coffees at the DD. We had a great talk about our lives and retirement from our jobs and moving on to something else. He clearly loved his family and enjoyed being with them. 
Great guy, kind heart, and will be missed by all of us that knew him.

I’ll always cherish and never forget the time I got to spend in the garage with my father, building metal art. He wasn’t like other dads, we didn’t play catch in the front yard, instead he showed me how to build an engine, how to weld, and how to start a fire quickly with gasoline. And I wouldn’t change any of that for the world.

I met Nelson 7 years ago when I started working for HoCo. In those 7 years I was lucky enough to get to know him a little bit. One of the nicest guys I've ever met. It didn't take long for me to see that he was the kind of man who would give you the shirt off his back...always willing to drop whatever he was doing in order to lend a helping hand. Hearing of his passing hit me rather hard. I can only imagine what those who have known him for most of their lives are feeling. I offer my condolences to the Fraizer family and to the many friends of his.
I will never forget him or the conversations we had.




I’ve only interacted with Nelson a few times, which isn’t much, but with such few times I got a good feel with him. There aren’t many people who you can meet so few times and be able to develop such a feeling. Nelson had a very strong aura about him. Listening to Nelson talk was always enjoyable, he always had a good story to tell. I would never mind sitting and listening to him talk when he started. It could go on for a few hours but that didn’t matter, it was always interesting to hear what he had to say/tell. Watching the interaction between Nelson and his family was touching and lovable. I’ll never forget sitting out with Nelson and how he can fish in his bag of memories and basically tell a story perfectly from point A to B. It’s like an automatic story telling machine would go off in his brain haha. Although I did not know Nelson very well, his strong stance as a person has allowed me to at least speak on my interactions with him, which have been very enjoyable. As a father and loving husband, he was a charismatic man who seemed to get along with everyone and always left a reputable impression. I am glad I’ve got the chance to meet the wonderful man, Nelson Frazier. He had a pure soul made of gold.

   Nelson, the most gentle, caring, and loving, and talented person you could ever hope to meet ... those of whom were fortunate enough to know Nelson,  are a better person for it. Our prayers are out to all ...

Our wedding day such a fun memorable day. You left way to soon Nelson but left a lifetime of memories!

Our hearts are breaking for you . Nelson was the kindest , sweetest and the best husband and father . He will be missed beyond words . Love and hugs sent from both Mike and I . We love you both so much . So so so sorry 😢 

I will never forget when we were all at a bar in old Ellicott City and you told be why you had a long pony tail .   It touched my heart and I could feel the pain you carried in your heart ! Mr. Nelson was an extremely kind and caring man. He helped my family many times over the years, and was always willing to go out of his way to help a friend. He reminded me much of my own dad in many ways. Thinking of Kelly, Faith, Steele, and Mrs. Lori during this time. Sending you guys all of my love. 

Nelson was such a kind soul. We were neighbors in Elkridge; and we became good friends since our children played together when they were little. We will never forget what good times we had together with our families. Our hearts break for Lori, Kelly, Faith and Steel. I’ll always remember Nelson’s beautiful metal art on display at Lori’s salon as well as his warm sense of humor.  

This does not seem real.    A great person going home.  Prayers for the family.  There are rare and special people I. This world and he was one.   I am thankful for the time we were able to spend with him and am forever thankful for the love he showed my boys growing up.   Forever family!

Also thankful for the working Nelson who has spent many years working Jimmy.   He talked about him alot.  All the good times they have had AR work.   Loved hearing  the STORIES!
