Born in China on April 8, 1953, to Wong Kwun-Pak and Ng Choi Kam, Norric lived a life rooted in faith, family, and service. He faithfully served as a deacon for approximately 15 years and was a dedicated member of Chinese Christian Church of Virginia (CCCVA). He also served as a board member of China Horizon and as chair of the Christian Oratorio Society of Greater Washington, D.C.
Norric’s life reflected the words of 1 Peter 4:8–10: to love deeply, offer hospitality generously, and use our gifts to serve others. He was known for his patience, kindness, generosity, and servant’s heart. He gave freely of his time and talents and found joy in helping others and serving his church and community.
Above all, Norric cherished his family. He is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Christalle Suk-Fun Wong; his children, Leo Wong and his wife, Iris, and Enoch Wong; and his grandchildren, Quinn and Xavier Wong. His legacy of faith, love, and service will continue through them and through all those whose lives he touched.
Norric was preceded in death by his parents and brother. Though he will be deeply missed, his family takes comfort in knowing that he is now resting in the presence of his Lord and Savior.
“Above all, keep loving one another earnestly…”
— 1 Peter 4:8
