

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Robert Alfaro, Sr., of Baltimore, Maryland on Monday, April 3, 2023, at the age of 85. Robert was born on November 9, 1937 in Baltimore, Maryland to his parents, the late Ruppert and Leona Alfaro.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 66 years, Irma; Robert was the devoted father of Michael and Patricia Alfaro, Patrick Alfaro, and the late Robert and Gene Marie Alfaro; loving grandfather of Christopher and Mandy Alfaro, Robert and Deanna Alfaro, Matthew Alfaro, and Nicholas Alfaro; cherished great-grandfather of Penelope, Hannah, Ellie, and Kaylee; dear brother of Alfredo, Annette, Timothy, Maria and the late Lawrence Alfaro, Renato Alfaro, Terry Alfaro, and Yvonne Grap. Also survived by many nieces, nephew, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Prior to Mr. Alfaro’s illnesses, he was an active member of the Baltimore Basilica where he served as an Usher and Tour Guide, and Mr. Alfaro prior to his illnesses was an active member of the Knights of Columbus, Baltimore Basilica Chapter. Mr. Alfaro was a veteran of the Korean War who served in the US Navy. Mr. Alfaro enjoyed life and time with his extended family. He enjoyed history and reading about history.
Family and friends are invited to gather at Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Inc. 7250 Washington Blvd. Elkridge, Maryland 21075 (Exit 6 South off Route 100) on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 from 3:00 - 5:00pm and 7:00 - 9:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at The Baltimore Basilica, 409 Cathedral Street, Baltimore, Maryland 21201 at 10:00am. Interment Meadowridge Memorial Park.
