Robin Renee Bowling, age 53, of Glen Burnie, Maryland, passed away on Thursday, August 28, 2025. She was born on January 27, 1972, in Maryland to George “Moe” Bowling and the late Sharon Elizabeth Bowling (née Russ).
Robin was the beloved sister of Tracy Hartzell and her husband Greg, and the loving aunt of Hunter Hartzell and his wife Reeana, and Carrie Hartzell. She was a proud great-aunt to Greyson and Gunner and was excitedly awaiting the arrival of baby Hayes. Cherished by my many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Affectionately known as "Aunt Rah" by many, Robin held a special place in the hearts of all who knew her.
After graduating high school, Robin began her career at the BWI Holiday Inn before joining Verizon, where she worked for many years.
Robin loved the beach, especially trips to Ocean City and Rhode Island, and she cherished weekends spent at the camper in West Virginia. She had a deep appreciation for music, with Billy Joel, Stevie Nicks, and Bret Michaels among her favorites. Robin also enjoyed collecting baseball cards and coins, and she was a devoted fan of both the Baltimore Orioles and the Baltimore Ravens. Above all, she treasured spending time with her family and friends.
She will be remembered for her big heart, joyful spirit, and unwavering love for those close to her.
