A dentist by training and passion, Soli and his wife, Pearl courageously took a leap of faith together in 1973, immigrating to the United States to build a bright future for their family. They shared 63 wonderful years of marriage, partnership, and devotion.
Soli will always be remembered for his witty and colorful sense of humor, his deep commitment to excellence, and his generosity. He was passionate about dentistry, not only practicing, but teaching it. As a Professor and Chair at Howard University, where he served for 30 years, he mentored countless dental students and made a lasting impact in the field. Alongside his academic leadership, he built a successful private practice which he operated until 2012.

He was also an active and proud member of ZAMWI. In addition, he was a board member who helped establish the Fali Chothia Charitable Trust which supports scholarships for Zoroastrian students. Despite his many professional commitments, family always came first. He never failed to make time for the people he loved. A skilled handyman, he helped with countless home improvement projects and was the go-to person for almost anything, he could always figure out a solution.
