Tae Wook Kim

He was born in the Hamgyong province of Korea to In Chul Kim and Joong Nyeo Moon. He graduated from Ham Heung High School, class of 1958.

Tae Wook dedicated his life to his family. He immigrated to the United States with his wife and four young children in May 1975. He left the comforts of his home in Korea with a dream and traveled to Maryland where he established roots and created a home for his family.

He is survived by his wife, Suh Jung Kim, and his four children, Leanna Lee, Young Kim, Thomas Kymm, and David Kim. He loved his ten grandchildren: Andrew Lee, Kristina Lee, Katelynn Lee, Nicole Kim, Natalie Kim, Ashley Kymm, Erika Kymm, Emma Kim, Adam Kim, and Elle Kim. He was blessed with four great-grandchildren: Grayson Lee, Calvin Lee, Micah Yoo, and Lenna Yoo.

Family and friends are invited to gather at Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Inc. 7250 Washington Blvd., Elkridge, Maryland, 21075 (Exit 6 South of Route 100) on Friday, November 15, 2024 from 10:00-11:00 AM at which time a Celebration of Life Service will begin. Interment Lakemont Memorial Gardens.
