Thelma Marie Henderson

Marie is preceded in death by her loving husband of over 50 years, Walter E. Henderson. She is survived by her daughter Susan (Sue) Miller, granddaughter Sandi (Miller) Stansell and husband Sean, as well as great-grandchildren Delaney and Miles. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Marie was born in April, 1927 in Mount Airy, MD to Oscar Unglesbee and Eva Norwood. She was the youngest and last surviving of her siblings, Alvie, Ralph, Louise, and Roland. She lived most of her life in Catonsville.

Marie was probably best known for her friendly, out-going personality and smile. She was very devoted to her family and friends. Anyone who knew her loved her. She worked most of her life at H. W. Wright & Co. and volunteered at St. Agnes Hospital after the loss of her husband.

A viewing will be held at Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, 7250 Washington Blvd, Elkridge MD 21075 on Monday, November 20, 2017 from 2 pm to 4 pm and 6 pm to 8 pm. The funeral service is scheduled for Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at 10:30 am at Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park. Pastor Rick Powell will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Marie’s life.
