On November 1, 2014 Thelma Eunice Ruffin of Baltimore, MD died at the age of 89 surrounded by her family. Thelma was the beloved wife of the late William Edward Ruffin, Jr.; devoted mother of Sylvia Mills and her husband Roland, Denise Hines and her husband Howard, Laverne Poindexter and her husband Larry, William Ruffin III and his wife Karen, Donna Vicotria Ruffin and the late Parran and Vondalea Ruffin and Yvonne Mercer; dear sister of Leroy Lee; Also survived by 10 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to gather at Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Inc. 7250 Washington Blvd., Elkridge, MD 21075 (Exit 6 South off Route 100) on Friday, November 7, 2014 from 4-8pm. Funeral service will be held at St. James Episcopal Church 1020 W. Lafayette Street, Baltimore, MD 21217 on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 11:00am.There will be a gathering from 10-11am, prior to the service. Interment Meadowridge Memorial Park.
