Travis Terrence Rutledge, 54, of Pasadena, passed away on March 16, 2026, due to complications from a stroke.
Born on May 25, 1971, to William and Rita Rutledge, Travis was a beloved son, brother, and friend. He was known for his kind heart, generous spirit, and the quiet, steady way he showed up for the people in his life.
A 1990 graduate of Broadneck Senior High School, Travis built a life rooted in community. He worked in retail and also served with the Anne Arundel County Board of Elections, where he took pride in supporting his local community.
Travis is survived by his loving mother, Rita; his sister, Shannon Rutledge, and her husband, Scott Schuyler of Glen Burnie; and his brother, Tad Rutledge, of Chester. He was preceded in death by his father, William Rutledge, and his grandparents, Wilber and Margaret “Sis” Rutledge.
Travis will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A Mass and celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Travis’ name may be made to the American Stroke Association (www.stroke.org).
