Vaymelle Kugler, 87, born and raised in Mobile Alabama, daughter of the late Cyril Blake and Minnie Batchelor, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2020. She was the beloved wife of the late Valarius E. Kugler. Loving mother of Larry Kugler and his wife Shirley, Vay Serio and her husband Frank, Gay Vane, Lawrence Kugler and Deborah Imhoff and her husband Brian. Sister of Janet Thorsen, Linda Pugh, and her late twin Gaynelle Elliott. Grandmother of Nina Burwell, Tony Kugler, Bruce Hazel, Amy Binger, Donald Thomas, Jeremy Serio, Erik Brungot, April Prusak, Jessica Pope, Luke Vane, Crystal and April DeMarr, Amanda and Hannah Imhoff and the late Joey Prusak and Benjamin Imhoff. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren; Deven, Makala, Neveah, Toni, Adi, Madi, Zack, Zoey, Merissa, Donny, Tomi Jean, Graycen, Rory, Nathan, Brayden, Thomas and Trenton.
Vaymelle was an avid card player, Rummy 500 being her favorite. She taught all of her children the game of poker at an early age. She was most fondly referred to as “Our Queen of Hearts” AKA “Super Skirt” Vaymelle taught ballroom dancing, worked at The Press Register and Sears Roebuck and Company in Mobile, AL; but most importantly she worked as a loving Homemaker.
Graveside Service and Entombment will be held privately on Monday, June 1, 2020 at Meadowridge Memorial Park Mausoleum, Elkridge, MD at 10:45 am. Arrangements were handled by the Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Inc., Elkridge, MD.
