On Saturday, May 10, 2014, Virginia Blanche Shaffer of Baltimore, MD, formerly of Brownton, WV. Beloved mother of Steven Michael Shaffer and his wife Kathleen, Joseph Donald Shaffer and his wife Kelly, Charles Randall Shaffer and Keith Leon Shaffer and his wife Anita. Sister of Ada Anglin, Loretta Trader, Augustine Gray, Robert, Marvin, Virgil and Elmer Pyle. Grandmother of Brandon, Joseph, Nicole, Brent, Keith and Melisa. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends.

Family and friends are invited to gather at the Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Inc., 7250 Washington Boulevard, Elkridge, MD 21075 (exit 7 off Rt. 100) on Wednesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm where Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at 11:00 am. Mrs. Shaffer will be sent to the Bradley J. Mayle Funeral Home, 1 Flemington Ctr., Flemington, WV 26347 ( Telephone - 304-739-2022) where she will also recieve family and friends on Saturday, May 17, 2014 from 11:00 am till the start of the Funeral Service at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at the Flemington IOOF Cemetery in Flemington, WV.
