William "Bill" Joseph Fendlay of Berlin, Maryland, a deeply loved and devoted husband, passed away surrounded by the love of his family. He was the beloved husband of Despoina Fendlay, a cherished father to Kim Winkel (Bernie) and Kari Pearre Robinson (Chris), and a proud and adoring grandfather to John (Stephanie), Justin, Brett, Blair, and Paige. He was also a treasured great-grandfather to Emily, Michael, and Madison, each of whom brought him immense joy.
William was was preceded in death by his parents, Mildred "Patsy" and John "Ellsworth" Fendlay, his beloved first wife, Judith Fendlay, and his siblings Allen and John Fendlay.
He leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and quiet strength that will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his many family members and friends, including his siblings Patrick, Bobby, and Linda.
Family and friends are invited to gather at Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Inc. 7250 Washington Blvd, Elkridge, Maryland 21075 (Exit 6 South off Route 100) on Monday, May 11, 2026 from 9:00 to 11:00am at which time a Celebration of Life Service will begin.
