William Edward Thiele, of Orchard Beach, Maryland, passed away peacefully at his home on April 25, 2026.
He was born on December 11, 1939, in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Raymond Antone Thiele and Lillian Catherine Thiele (Rausher).
William was the beloved husband of Sandra “Sandy” Thiele. They were married in 1993 and shared a loving partnership together since 1975.
He was a devoted father to Raymond “Ray” Thiele, Billie Jean Thiele, and Joseph “Joe” Thiele (Jennifer “Jenn” Thiele). He was a proud grandfather to Amanda, Tabitha, Raymond Jr., Charlie, Julia and John. He was blessed with many great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by his sister, Lorraine Thiele.
William enjoyed woodworking, motorcycles, and watching NASCAR races. He especially loved vacations to Ocean City and Myrtle Beach and treasured time spent with his family. Whether enjoying a quiet cup of coffee or sharing stories with loved ones, he appreciated life’s simple pleasures.
Above all, William loved his family deeply and will be remembered for his warmth, dedication, and the many memories he created with those he loved.
