Elsie Marie Johnson

Elsie Marie (Kokrine) Johnson was born Sept.23,1929 in Tanana, AK. She passed away in her daughters home May. 29, 2016 in Marysville, WA. Elsie graduated from Mt Edgecomb High school in 1947. Elsie is survived by 9 children, Erik, Edith, Margret Williams),Gerald, John jr, Theresa, Lesta, Patrick, (Luke) and Kallissa (Johnson). She had many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Sister Harriet Jackson and her 7 chilrden. Proceeded in death by her parents, Anthony Kokrine and Ethel Kokrine, aunts, uncles, John Luke Sr and David Johnson. Elsie loved baking she always had fresh cookies, and of course her famous Grandmas Banana bread. She loved teaching and sharing her recipes, she loved fishing and spending her time with her family.

Elsie worked for Providence Hospital for 10yrs, than moved to Ellensburg Wa, in 1992 to live with her Sister.

She was a part of the bowling league @ Ellensburg Bowl, loved playing Bingo @ the moose and Tulalip Bingo. She was loved by all and will be dearly missed.
