

Frank P. Duma, 99, passed away August 18, 2015 at his home with his family around him. He was born in Wilton, North Dakota to Jim and Anna (Rogowski) Duma. He came to Ellensburg in 1936 and worked at various places until he enlisted in the U.S. Navy December 8, 1941. He served in the South Pacific on the USS Tennessee during World War II.
He met and married Myrtle Cox, his wife of 65 years, in 1950. They loved to camp and travel with family and friends. He was a meat cutter by trade until he retired in 1979. He worked for Robinson Pack on 4th Avenue for many years. He also worked as a meat cutter at Schaake Pack in Ellensburg.
Frank was preceded in death by his father Jim, mother Anna, and five brothers, Tony, Paul, John, Mike, and Nick, and five sisters, Mary, Pauline, Vivian, Alice, and Annie. He is survived by his wife Myrtle, and grandsons Mike Banks of Oklahoma, Steve of Snohomish, Jerry Banks of Tacoma, and numerous nieces and nephews. He will be sorely missed.
A memorial service is planned for 3pm, Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Rosewood Clubhouse, 1100 South Rosewood Drive #500, Ellensburg, WA.
