Kenneth (Ken) B. Nelson Jr.

Ken Nelson, Jr. passed away on February 25 at his home in Cle Elum.

Ken was born on February 3, 1944, in Thief River Falls, Minnesota, to Kenneth "Burnelle" and Helen (Garfve).

He was preceded in death by his Mother (Helen) Step Mother (June), Father (Burnelle), Wife (Yvonne), and 2 sisters (Judy and Faye).

He leaves his loving memories to be cherished by his children, Kim, Kurt and Kathi, his longtime partner Linda, and her children, Todd and Jodi, along with 1 sister & 4 brothers, 12 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and his beloved dog DeeDee.

Ken proudly served in the United States Army from 1961-1964. He was an electrician by trade and loved all electronics and computers. He was an avid fisherman who loved camping and boating.

Ken could be seen around town with his dog DeeDee on the custom platform he had built on his wheelchair for her to sit and travel with him.

A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2015, at the home of his daughter, 20606 117 St. E. Bonney Lake, Washington. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to: ARRF Animal Rescue P.O. Box 670, Roslyn WA 98941.
