A long-time employee of Central Washington University, Terry was a part of the Ellensburg community for 35 years. Prior to this, he lived in Seattle and Spokane, and served his country as a member of the Army during the Vietnam War. A lover of the outdoors, Terry spent countless hours searching the fields and hillsides of the Kittitas Valley for Blue Agates; fishing its many rivers, ponds, and lakes; and hiking and camping in the surrounding mountains. He took pride in putting in a hard day’s work without complaint; helping others even when he needed help himself; and always honoring the close ties of family.
He is preceded in death by his father, Calvin “Joe,” and his mother, Ramona. He is survived by his wife, Virginia “Ginnie," his daughters, Sarah, Amie, and Andrea, his sons, Leon and Aaron, and his grandchildren, Alexis, William, Finnegan, Jay, Logan, Addison, and Layla.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate Terry’s life at Swauk Campground on Saturday, July 15th at 1 p.m.
