

Please join our family in celebrating the life and homegoing of Betty Ann Humphries. Betty went to her heavenly home on March 31st, 2025 in Bradenton, Florida.
Betty was born on December 23rd, 1939 at Bradenton General Hospital to Eugene and Annie Bly Armstrong. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a devout Christian of the Southern Baptist faith and taught the Preschool Sunday School class at First Baptist Church of Terra Ceia for 40 years. She had a passion for gardening and was an accomplished seamstress.
Betty leaves behind her devoted husband of 67 years, Luther “Luke” Humphries, beloved daughter, Julie Shirley (Tim), cherished granddaughter, Callie Byers (JonCade), and an already so loved great grandchild due in early August. Also left behind are two sisters, Gail Adams and Janice McIlwaine (Brad), brother-in-law, Carol Humphries and sister-in-law, Patsy Smith (David), and many beloved nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Eugene Park and Annie Bly Armstrong, one sister, Norma Powell, two brothers, Terry and Johnny Armstrong, and two brothers-in-law, Floyd Powell and Kenneth Adams.
Graveside services will be held at Gillette Cemetery on Friday, 11:00AM.

Betty will be deeply missed, but her memory will live in our hearts forever and we have the assurance that she is now with her Lord and Savior, walking in the garden.
