Brad F. Braden

We mournfully/joyfully announce the passing of Brad F Braden. He died peacefully at the Tidewell Hospice in Bradenton, Florida with his family by his side. He went to be with Jesus on Wednesday, 24 August 2022. He will now be a “Soldier in the Army of God”. He was 68 years old. He beat Cancer 14 years ago and this time it got the best of him.

Brad is survived by his son Skyler Braden of Nashville, TN, his twin brothers: BJ Braden of Palmetto, FL and Barry Braden of Blairsville, GA.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Norma I Braden (2002) and his dad, Capt. Jerry F. Braden (1989).

Brad was born October 13, 1953 in Meadville, PA to Jerry and Norma Braden. Brad graduated from Palmetto High School, the class of 1971. So, he received his PHD = Palmetto High Diploma. Ha, ha.

His passion in life was music. He was an avid guitar player. Loved sailing in his many sailboats and enjoyed life with “Miss Kitty” his pet Cat. He played his last music as the bass player with the Sun City Christian Center in Wimauma, FL. He worked with Home Instead for almost 11 years.

Brad's wish was to not have a “Celebration of Life” event. We decided to honor his request. He will be cremated with the Groover Funeral Home services. His ashes will be spread at a place specifically chosen by him.
