Charles Darrell Wilkerson

Darrell was born on May 6, 1957 in Benton Harbor, Michigan. His parents, C. Doyle and Virginia Juanita Huff Wilkerson preceded him in his passing.

Darrell was faithful serving his church, West Bradenton Baptist, and was a deacon of the church. He loved serving in many different areas of the church but especially enjoyed VBS in the summers. He was a longtime business owner in the pest control field and served many customers over the past 40 years.

Darrell is survived by his wife, Laila, and their sons, Adam (wife, Amber) and Eric. He is survived by sisters Freda Hall, Dana Higgenbotham, Lisa Barco, and brother, Darren Wilkerson. He is also survived by his three precious granddaughters, Ava, Aleah, and Adalie.

Services will be held at West Bradenton Baptist Church (1305 43rd Street West, Bradenton, Florida) on Thursday, September 7th at 11:00am. Reception in Fellowship Hall will immediately follow.
