Very sorry and shocked to here of Dave's passing. I remember him as a  great and loyal teammate/ classmate. A fierce competitor on the basketball court always giving a 110 % for the team. Proud to call him my teammate.

I am so sorry for the loss of your loved one. Please find peace and comfort in Psalms 119:76.

Beba was the most giving and caring person. He always went above and beyond for everyone. He will be so so so missed. I miss when he would always tell me all of the reganisms that I would say when I was little. I miss all of the vacations we would go on together and seeing the mounts. I will forever see the mounts with you even if you won't be with me physically you will always be with me in my heart and I will bring you on all my adventures that I seek throughout my lifetime.

My heart goes out to you.  I remember you and Larry so fondly from being with our mutual friends, Don & Roly Van Dusen, in Detroit. It only seems like yesterday that we were together and David was a little boy.  Willie and I always enjoyed your company so much.

David you were a wonderful son, husband, and very special cousin. You were always kind, loving and putting others needs ahead of your own. And you were blessed with the wonderful Bilkie sense of humor.  You are missed greatly and will be loved always. Aunt Mary and Susie, wish we could have been there to celebrate his life with you. Sending all our love and hugs.

Mrs. Bilkie, I was so sorry to hear of Dave's passing.  It's been many, many years since we played as kids in Tecumseh, MI and enjoyed many family times together; but I still carry those great memories with me; and I'm praying for your family during this very sad time.

You are in our thoughts and prayers during this grieving time.  Dave was a warm loving soul that we will continue to miss. Helen, David, Nalicia, Sierra, Gabriel, Jerman e and Peggy Wells!

Whether in sports, as an outstanding basketball and soccer player, in TV production or creative writing, I remember David as a determined young man . . . determined to do his very best.  Later, that same determination exemplified his family life.  A favorite memory will always be his unique sense of humor -- obviously inherited from his Dad and his Uncle Richard.  Mary, Susie -- David will remain in my heart and daily prayers forever.

Please know we are thinking of you Aunt Mary and Susie during this very sad time.

We knew David as a kind and gentle soul, with a manner that was charming in its modesty. His creative genius was well documented . . . less known, perhaps, was his generous heart.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to you, Susie.  Your faith never wavered; your purpose never faltered.  Take comfort in knowing that just as your loving hands sustained David in this life, God's loving hands took him home.  Our love and God's peace to you Mary . . . you were there continually for David -- in spirit, in faith and with the love that only a mother can give.

It takes time to let go and work through our separation, but we become stronger and wiser once we get through it. David's soul rejoins God in Heaven and all is perfect with his mind, body and spirit. We are better people for having known and loved him. He was a gentleman with great respect for others, his work ethic was admirable and his love and appreciation for his family anchored his world.
