David E. Clark, Sr. of Bradenton, FL went to be with his Lord on February 17, 2018 at the age of 94. He was born in Shelby, OH to Delbert & Gertrude Clark. He served in World War II in the Antiaircraft Battalion, Company C, in the Pacific. He attended Toledo Barber College and had a Barber Shop in Willard, OH for 25 years. In 1968 he moved with his family to Bradenton. He worked at the 34th Street Barber Shop, the Manatee Inspection Station and retired from the 75th Street U.S. Post Office. He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Juanita, daughter Denise, son David Jr. (Sue), sister Kathleen Hartz of Shelby, OH, brother Gerald Clark of Fremont, OH, granddaughter Alena (Thomas) Clancey, grandson Aaron (Danielle) Clark, great grandchildren Aaralyn, Bella, Carmyn, Owen Clark & Mason Clancey. He is also blessed to have a large number of nieces & nephews in OH. David is a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge #31 and a 32nd Degree Mason (Valley of Columbus).
A memorial service in memory of David will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday March 3, 2018 at Emmanuel United Methodist Church – 5115 Cortez Road W with Tracie Ashley officiating.
