

Delbert Thomas Reeder aka Bobby, 85, died after a struggle with Alzheimer's on February 7, 2017 in Palmetto, FL. A native, he was born on January 7, 1932 in Palmetto, FL to Charles Delbert and Elsie Marler Reeder. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara Jean Walshaw, his daughter Nancy Jean, and his 2nd wife, Patricia Overby Gaskill. He is survived by his wife Mary Jane(McEntee) and children Gary (Brenda), Bonnie Miller (Mark), Skipper (Cindy), Shari Stinton (James), and Alicia Stull (Matthew). Grandchildren, Cole Miller (Amanda), Corie Smith (Andy), Joshua Stinton (Kim), Stephanie Reeder, Brett Reeder (Mandy), Joseph Stinton, Jami Turner (Daniel), Luke Stull, and Jase Stull. Great grandchildren, Gracie Jean, Reed, Jackson, Preston, Dillon, Coplen, Harper, Boyd, Barrett, and Calvin.
Delbert had 3 great loves in his life. His love for Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, his family and farming.
Delbert was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church of Palmetto. He was the Sunday School Superintendent for 7 years and taught Sunday School for many years. He became a deacon in 1975 and was made Life Deacon in 2014.
Funeral services will be held at First Baptist Church of Palmetto at 11:00 on February 10, 2017. Visitation will precede the funeral at 10:00 also at First Baptist Church of Palmetto. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Sunday School Fund at First Baptist Church of Palmetto. Groover Funeral Home is entrusted with funeral arrangements.
