Donna Jean (Wright) Rose formerly of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away peacefully at the Tidewell Hospice House of Palmetto, Florida after a brave battle with dementia. Donna was the beloved wife of Robert W. Rose for over 60 years, who preceded her in death in April 2016. She was a consummate wife, mother and community volunteer who dedicated over 4000 hours to the Manatee Memorial Hospital. Donna enjoyed golfing with family and friends, crafting, travel and spending time with her family. Her favorite trips were and Alaskan cruise and seeing the Rose Bowl Parade. She is survived by her daughter Linda M. (Rose) Montero and her husband Jerry, her son Steven W. Rose and wife Virginia, 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. A private family ceremony will be held to celebrate Donna's life.
