Edna Carnahan

Edna D Carnahan, age 64, went to be with the Lord on November 13, 2016. Edna was born on December 5, 1951 to Charles and Lora (Fulkerson) Welch in Owensboro, KY. At age 8, she moved to Bradenton, FL where she resided most of her life, but then relocated to Tampa, FL when she met Harold, the love of her life. Edna was a caring and loving mother who would always place her family first. Visitation services will be held at Groover Funeral Home, 1400 36th Ave E., Ellenton, FL 34222 on Thursday Nov 17, 2016 from 5-8 PM. A service will be held at the funeral home on Friday Nov 18, 2016 at 1:00 PM with doors opening at 12:00 PM. Edna is survived by her two children, Denise Friddle and Franklin Hurst; her loving companion, Harold Baldy; her two sisters Frances Pinckard and Carrie Stein; Her two brothers Jimmy and Buddy Welch; Six grandchildren, Ashley Yochim, Brandi Abbot ,William, Colby, and Dillon Friddle, and Marissa Hurst; and 1 Great Grandson William Andrew Abbot. She is preceded in death by parents Charles and Lora (Fulkerson) Welch; her three brothers Bo Jones, Gil, and Bobby Welch; Her sister Shirley Welch; Step mother Vera Welch; Her son Joseph Parks; and her two grandchildren Joseph Parks and Brandon Friddle.
