The day I met Elizabeth Rodriguez I felt that I had won the Lottery, I thought how could I be so lucky to have met such a wonderful and loving person.
We spent almost four years of total happiness, she was an Angel to put up with me, as I am not an easy person to get along with and I know it!
A more loving and kind person does not exist, she got along with everyone, she did not have an ounce of anger in her body, as a matter of fact she was my “Anger Management” Guru, always showing me how to control myself.
I still can't believe that she has left us, as this world can use many more people like Elizabeth.
I loved her very much and I will continue to love her until the day I die, the pain of losing her is extreme but I have to think of how lucky I was to have had her in my life, I was truly Blessed.

May you rest in Peace my Sweetheart until I come to join you.

Biography

Elizabeth was born in Manati, Puerto Rico.

When Ms. Elizabeth Rodriguez walked into the room, those in her company felt energy, an enthusiastic spontaneity. This was just one example of who Elle was and how she impacted those around her. Elle was a clever and gregarious person who always sought out the finest attributes in other people. It was as if Elle wanted to share all of their experiences, revel in their lives and celebrate their discoveries. Elle was tireless and had boundless enthusiasm that would serve her well throughout her life.

She was the daughter of Julia and Roberto. Elle was raised in Manati, Puerto Rico. Always at the ready with a good joke, she grew up to be quite a humorous person. While some who knew Elle might describe her as an idealist, her friends and family understood well that Elle was always in pursuit of life’s endless possibilities and opportunities available to her.

Elle was raised with Two. She had two Sisters, Damaris and Lydia. Elle was very accepting and supportive of her family. She was perceived as the central person in her family in terms of keeping communication open between the family members. Whenever discord or tension arose within the home, Elle was typically the member who brought about resolution and harmony. These traits served Elle well in her adult life and, along with her wit, outgoing personality, and understanding of others, drew the admiration of many who knew her.

Elle did well in college, as a result of her comfort level with tackling new theories and her love of learning. She earned her Associates Degree. Elle was very adaptable, a quality that helped her make the transition from high school to college with little difficulty. As a result, Elle's problem solving skills and thirst for new knowledge almost guaranteed that she enjoyed virtually every class she took. Elle was always in quest of new things to learn and experience

Elle was a natural and creative parent who was willing to provide her family with all sorts of new and interesting experiences. For Elle, parenting was a particularly enjoyable and pleasurable part of her life. Every activity, from chores to bedtime routines, became a game in the Rodriguez home. Elle's skill at understanding her children's feelings, her sensitivity to their needs, and her gift for gentle persuasion enabled her to find novel solutions to any problem or situation that might crop up. Elle was blessed with Two: Two Sons, Carlos and David.

Elle was uplifted by new ideas and was excited by life’s possibilities, traits that made her an exceptional worker. Her primary occupation was Administrative. She was employed by the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. Elle was enterprising, inventive and working against deadlines seemed to energize her. Elle had the uncanny ability to identify a win/win solution to just about any problem, possibly because of her gift for insight. Elle's fellow workers saw her as a supporter and a mentor.

Because Elle loved to have a broad variety of activities in her life, she took advantage of the opportunity to pursue numerous hobbies. Her favorite pursuits were swimming pools and the beach. Elle had a knack for being able to multi-task in order to create time for all of her favorite pastimes. However, Elle's ever-present concern for others always took precedent.

Elle's love of improvising in her daily life was a perfect fit for her enjoyment of traveling. Her favorite vacations were ones that were not planned. Traveling in a casual manor fit her personality well. Excited about seeing changing scenery and constantly looking for the enjoyment life could offer, Elle took her vacations seriously, well, as seriously as she possibly could. Favorite vacations included Caribbean Cruises, Miami FL, Key West FL, Puerto Rico, St. Augustine FL, etc.

Elle was a lover of animals and cherished her pets.

Elle Rodriguez passed away on December 4, 2018 at Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, Florida. She experienced a sudden massive heart attack and never recovered. She is survived by Fiance Raymond A. Cruz, and two Sisters Damaris and Lydia.

There was always a certain style and inventiveness to Elle. She was a dynamic, self-expressive person who was forever looking to celebrate the endless possibilities life had to offer. She had a knack for being clever, creative and witty, and for others, was a joy to be around. While she was often fiercely independent, it seemed as if many others looked to Elle Rodriguez for inspiration, leadership, wisdom and even courage. Elle was always more than willing to share life’s experiences with her loved ones.

Thoughts and Memories of Elizabeth by her Fiance Raymond A. Cruz

Elle was a child at heart, She adored everything to do with Disney World and its characters, when we went to the Parks she would dance with Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, etc.
She had many Disney tee shirts, Mouse ears, and other Disney merchandise.

We moved to Davenport to be closer to the Parks and we purchased annual passes, unfortunately we only visited 2 parks.

She loved the beach and boats, when we lived in Palmetto we would frequent Anna Maria Island, Siesta Key, Coquina Key, Venice Beach, and Englewood Beach, among others.
After the move we were further from the Beach but we managed to go to Daytona Beach, Miami Beach, Cocoa Beach, and Key West, among others.

She enjoyed small quaint towns and ethnic towns such as Dunedin, Tarpon Springs Greek Sponge Docks, Hyde Park, Ybor City, St. Armand's Circle, Mount Dora, Celebration, etc.

She also had fun at Busch Gardens and Seaworld, the Penguin ride and displays at Seaworld were her favorites.

She loved Botanical Gardens in Largo, Bok Tower in Lake Wales, and especially at Christmas time.

I took her on her first Cruise to the Caribbean and she was a natural, she loved it and never got sea sick. We were planning another one in January 2019.
She loved to travel and we were planning a trip to Spain in the summer of 2019.

Elle loved the "Girlie" things, she always had her nails nicely done , along with her haircuts and style. She had quite the wardrobe, from tee shirts to formal wear.
Elle was a big fan of Guess, Aeropostale, "G" by Guess, Pandora Jewelry, and she adored Michael Kors merchandise from fragrances to Pocketbooks.

She had a lot of friends and treasured their visits and "get togethers", everyone loved Elle, especially me!!!

Elle had two Sons which she loved very much, Carlos and David, She brought them from Puerto Rico to Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
She adored her Mother and would call her in Puerto Rico on almost a weekly basis.

She loved her Puerto Rican music and Contemporary Christian songs.
Attending Christian Services were very important to her, we were still searching for a Church we could call "Home".

Elle enjoyed good food and we would eat out often, from Mc Donalds to the Columbia Restaurant, not to mention her passion for Puerto Rican food, once we moved to Davenport we frequented various Puerto Rican Restaurants.

Coffee was her passion, she loved her Coffee, at home, Panera, Dunkin Donuts, etc.
We regularly had our "Coffee Time" late in the day with Bagels or others pastries.

She loved children and unfortunately never had Grand Children.

I will miss you forever my sweet Angel, you were the light in my life, my reason and purpose for existence.

Although I continue to live in pain with a big emptiness in my heart, I am truly grateful for the years that we were together.

May you rest in eternal peace until I can be with you once more.

I love you so much Elizabeth, MY ELLE forever!
