Emilie Jane Gue

We sadly announce the passing of Emilie J. Gue, age 86 on March 24, 2023. Emilie was born in Chambersburg, PA then moved to St. Petersburg, FL where she spent most of her adult life before moving to Bradenton, FL and later to Parrish, FL. She recently relocated to Myakka, FL where she passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family.

Our mother, Emilie, was one of the most independent women to ever walk this earth, and our family was blessed to have her as the matriarch of the family. Emilie deeply loved her family and the many foster care children she had the privilege of interacting with over the years. Married on April 9th, 1960 to Earl (Gus) Gue, they went on to raise four children of their own. Emilie was a wonderful and loving mother who gave her all to her family. We will never be able to fill the void left by her passing.

Emilie was predeceased by her mother, Mignon Sachse, her father, Carl Gsell, and her brother, Ronald Gsell. Emilie is survived by husband, Earl F. Gue, son, Terry W. Gue, and three daughters, Kimberley Merwin, Terronda Zackery and Melanie Britt as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mother, you are now at peace but you will live on forever in our hearts. We love you so much and will always remember you. Rest in peace sweet mother.
