Erica, born on May 26th, 1988, to Glenda Carter & Ray Oxendine in Palmetto, FL, immediately brought joy and laughter into the world. Erica went on to graduate from Palmetto High School in 2006 as a highly decorated student.
In late 2008, she met Ryan and the two were inseparable from that point on. Erica & Ryan were married on September 9, 2010……nearly 14 years. They celebrated two extremely beautiful and talented children within those years.
Erica was a fiercely dedicated mom to her children and all her “fur babies”. Raising them all to accomplish great things. Family came first and was above all else to Erica, a value she instilled in all those around her. She was the essence of a mother and inspiration, touching the hearts of so many. The hole left by her absence will forever be impossible to fill.
Erica was predeceased by both sets of grandparents, aunts, and uncles. She is survived by her husband, Ryan. Her two children, Jacob, and Kaylee. Her Sister, Alysa R Tracy. Her mother and stepfather Glenda and Bill Carter, and her father and stepmother Ray and Virginia Oxendine.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Erica’s name to Squirrelly AF Rescue. Celebration of life will be at First Baptist Church of Gillette, at 3301 Moccasin Wallow Rd Palmetto Fl. September 23, 2023, at 11 am. All are invited to attend. The live stream link is below to join virtually by clicking the "Join Live Stream" button.
