Eugene Righsby Love, 91, passed away in Bradenton, Florida on June 30, 2026. Born on July 26, 1934 in Dublin, Georgia, Eugene's life was well lived. "Gene" as he was known, graduated from Manatee County High School in 1953. He worked for Eli Witt Company for forty years as a warehouse manager and salesman. He was a proud Army Veteran serving time in Germany as well as being a member of the American Legion. Gene was preceded in death by his first wife, Diane Love, daughter Darlene Love, and second wife, Mary Love. He is survived by his sisters Barbra Tappan and Doris Davis, his daughter Lynn Byers, his grandchildren Matt Arcadi, Kati Kerekanich, their spouses, 3 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and cherished friends Jennifer and Russ Sheehan. Gene's memory will live on through his family and friends by his love and witty repartee.
A Graveside Service to celebrate Gene's life will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at 11am at Mansion Memorial Park. 1400 36th Avenue East Ellenton, Florida, 34222.
