Fran was a beloved mother, sister, Mimi, friend, and coworker whose warmth and laughter left a lasting mark on everyone she met. Originally from New Jersey, she moved to Florida as a young adult, where she met her husband, Walter, with whom she shared the adventure of living overseas during her twenties. Walter preceded her in death, but their love for each other and their family remained a treasured part of her journey.
Fran had a lifelong spirit of adventure and a contagious smile that could light up any room. She built a meaningful career as a Radiologic Technologist, but often joked that her real full-time job was being a listener. Patients confided in her, and she welcomed their stories with compassion and empathy. She believed wholeheartedly that sometimes people just need someone to talk to—and she was always that someone.
Fran touched countless lives with her kindness, humor, and wisdom. She was the rock of her family and a steadfast presence to those lucky enough to know her. Her absence will be deeply felt and her memory forever cherished.
She is survived by her son Ross, daughter Kendall, and two grandchildren.
