Frank Montone passed away on July 12, 2013. Frank was born in Winthrop, Massachusetts to Gerald and Anna Montone. He is survived by his loving wife,Bonnie; three children, Daniel, Christine, Barbarann: four grandchildren; brother, Jerry and sister, Terry.
As a lover of music, in his youth, Frank was part of a rock-n-roll band playing the saxophone. He was a member of the US Army and a veteran of the Vietnam War. After his service, Frank attended Northeastern University where he obtained a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering and then went on to obtain a degree as an Aeronautical Master Technician.
In his career he owned and operated a metal optics manufacturing company. Frank’s hobbies were golfing, fishing and spoiling his grandchildren. Frank was a selfless man who always put his family first. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 19, 2013, at Groover Funeral Home at Mansion Memorial Park, 1400 36th Avenue East, Ellenton ,Florida 34222 at 1:00 in the afternoon.
