Frank Melvin, age 80 of Palmetto went to be with his Lord. He was a devoted Father, Grandfather and friend. A long time business owner and resident of Manatee County. He was a father of five children Bud Melvin - Toni, Cathy Morgan - Wayne, Gail Snyder - Jay and is preceded in death by his two children Bonnie Chubb and Willard Melvin. Grandfather of three, Damian Parker, Erica Fasel and Amy Chubb; and eight great grandchildren. Visitation services will be held at Groover Funeral Home, 1400 36th Ave., E. Ellenton, FL 34222 on Friday Nov 4, 2016 from 10- 11 AM, with a service following at 12 PM. Interment will take place at Gillette Cemetery.
