George Franklin Pinkham III, of Bradenton, Florida, passed away on May 27, 2026, in the comfort of his own home, surrounded by his loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 73 years old.
George was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, beloved brother, and a good Christian man whose faith in God guided him throughout his life. He was known for his honesty, generosity, strong work ethic, and unwavering dedication to his family. Even through his illness, George faced each day with remarkable strength, courage, and determination.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Karen Pinkham; his daughters, Chari Bradley and her husband, Brad Bradley, and Krista Pinkham; his grandchildren, Robert T. Case and his wife, Jessica, Ashley Bandy, Taylor Escobar, and Colton Fixter; his great-grandchildren, Hunter, Paisley, Hudson, and Easton Case; his sister, Holly Kirchofer and her husband, Richard; his brothers, Harry Pinkham and his wife, Tammy, David Pinkham and his wife, Melissa, and Bryan Pinkham and his life partner, Connie; his aunt, Ethel "Honey" Morris; as well as many cherished nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
George was preceded in death by his son, Joshua Pinkham and his parents, George Franklin Pinkham and Margaret Pinkham.
George found great joy in playing guitar, spending time in the mountains, caring for his dogs, and sharing life with those he loved. He found joy in life's simple blessings. Above all, he treasured his family and his faith. His kindness, wisdom, and willingness to help others left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
While his family grieves his loss, they find comfort in knowing that George is finally at rest, free from pain and cancer, and in the presence of the Lord he loved so dearly.
His legacy of love, faith, hard work, and devotion to family will continue to live on through all who were blessed to know him.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Family and friends are invited to gather to honor, remember, and celebrate George's life and the many memories he leaves behind.
