Geraldine (Tabor) Kelliher Middleton Hadley met her maker August 19, 2018. Gerry was born August 29, 1924, in Indianapolis, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Ruth Tabor, her brother Donald J. Tabor; and her husbands William F. Kelliher, Jr., Philip J. Middleton, and Earl E. Hadley.
She was a devoted mother to Kathy Kelliher, Greg A. Kelliher, (Ginger,) and Mary Ann Middleton Palmer (John). Stepdaughters are Larita K. Snyder and Wanda J. Hadley. She is also survived by her grandsons Scott M. Hoyt, Chad W.P. Kelliher (Lauren) and Christopher A. Kelliher, and great-grandchildren Alex S. Hoyt and Ainsley L. Kelliher.
Gerry graduated from Manual High School in Indianapolis. She moved to Speedway, IN in 1955. She moved to Ellenton, FL permanently in 1999 after being a snowbird for over 20 years.
She loved music and enjoyed playing the piano at Vespers for Tidevue Estates in Ellenton and Waters Edge in Bradenton. She directed the Choralettes at Tidevue Estates. Her real joy came when she played the organ at her home for others. She was a member of Red Hats and the Order of Eastern Star.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the First United Methodist Church of Palmetto in Palmetto, FL on September 8, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. Groover Funeral Home in Ellenton, FL is handling the arrangements.
