

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 55 years Bessie (Betty) His parents Henry Frank Parker (1953) and Elizabeth Pearl Craig(1957), (the Craig family were the original settlers of Palmetto) His sister Francis Lookhoff, half/sister Alma Shipman and half/bothers Charles Gilbert Courter and George Albert (Al) Courter.
Born July 13, 1929 in New Smyrna Beach, Florida he spent much of his younger years in the Cortez and Palmetto area. After his stint in the Navy he returned home and married Bessie Lou Hester (Betty) in June of 1949. They were blessed with two children son Henry (Rick) C. Parker of Port Orange, FL and daughter Shirley (Parker) Reel of Auburndale, FL.
He was a commercial fisherman for many years before moving to Michigan with his wife and family in 1959 where he did many jobs but never lost his love of fishing and became an avid hunter. He and his wife returned to Florida after he retired. They were living in Sebring when she passed away, he then moved back to the Palmetto area to be near the salt water and fulfill his favorite hobby of fishing.
He is survived by his two children; four grandchildren: Nicholas Parker of Bonita Springs, FL; Sabrina Reel of Lakeland, FL; Denise (Reel) Kuzma of Kissimmee, FL; and Kristin Parker of South Haven, MI as well as nine great grandchildren: Bryce Reel of Kissimmee, FL; Dylan Davis of Lakeland, FL; Kyla Lawson of South Haven, MI; Phoenix Lawson of South Haven, MI; Bayleigh Reel of Kissimmee, FL; Kyler Davis of Lakeland, FL; Aaliyah Dow of South Haven, MI ; Brayden Kuzma of Kissimmee, FL and Brielle Parker of Bonita Springs, FL. Also many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Henry will be cremated and his ashes interred in the crypt with his beloved wife Bessie.
