Mr. Ramirez left behind his seven beautiful children—Horacio (Brenda), Evelia (Guadalupe), Rene, Esmeralda (Juan), Rodrigo (Maricelda), Geronimo (Laura) and Sanjuanita (Sandro). He also leaves brothers Andres, Virgilio, Gustavo, Rene and Armando, and sisters Sanjuana, Diana and Sandra. He also has eighteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Mr. Ramirez worked as an agriculture crew leader for 30 years for Taylor and Fulton. He was a hard worker and a great man to his workers. He has touched many lives, radiated warmth and love, with a contagious laugh. He had joy in life for helping others, and was one of the most kind-hearted people you could meet.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 12th from 6 pm until 6 am Thursday at Groover Funeral Home at Mansion Memorial Park in Ellenton. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 am on Thursday, September 13th at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Palmetto.
