He was a former member of Dry Prairie Baptist Church and served as a Deacon for many years. He retired from International Union of Operating Engineers, Tampa, FL. where he loved his many years of being a crane operator. He enjoyed working cattle, farming, southern gospel sings, and bluegrass festivals. He loved spending time with friends and family reminiscing.
He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Mildred; and his children, Jeff Carlton (Wyndi), Todd Carlton (Stephanie), and DeeDee Bates (Randy); his 8 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren; his sister, Joyce West and his brother Floyd Carlton. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ira and Mildred Carlton and son Wade Carlton.
The Visitation for Isaac will be held Sunday, January 19, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Groover Funeral Home at Mansion Memorial Park, 1400 36th Ave East, Ellenton, FL 34222. The Funeral Service will take place on Monday, January 20, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Dry Prairie Baptist Church, 40849 FL-62, Duette, FL 34219. The Graveside Service will occur immediately after at Bethlehem Memorial Cemetery, 17461-17651 Bethlehem Road, Lithia, FL 33547.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Isaac's memory may be made to Tidewell Hospice House Bradenton.
