

Born on June 27, 1958, in Warren, Ohio, Jim lived a life marked by dedication to his family and an unwavering work ethic.
Jim built a long and respected career in construction and home remodeling. Known for his skill and reliability, he took pride in his craftsmanship and the tangible results of his labor. His work not only supported his family but also left a lasting mark on the homes and communities he helped shape.
A devoted husband and caring father, Jim is survived by his wife, Linda Lee Newell Griffith, his mother, Delores J Griffith, three sisters, Cindy Ashby, Cheryl Wilson & Kim Griffith, his three sons, Richard A. Newell, William R. Newell, Billy E. Ratliff, and his daughter, Monica L. Snyder, his ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren. As well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert D. Griffith Sr. and his brother, Robert D. Griffith Jr.
Outside of work, Jim found joy in the outdoors. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who cherished time spent in nature. These pursuits brought him peace and provided opportunities to bond with those closest to him.
Jim’s legacy lives on through the lives he touched—his family, friends, and all who knew him as a hardworking man with a generous spirit. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.
