

Jean-Paul Poirier, aged 81, of Clinton, Massachusetts, and Ellenton, Florida, formally of Maynard, Massachusetts and Shediac, New-Brunswick, Canada, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones in Florida on March 10, 2017. He was the beloved husband of Aurella Poirier to whom he was married for 60 years.
Born in Bouctouche New-Brunswick, he was the son of the late Frederick and Yvonne Perry. He was self-employed for many years as a home builder and general contractor in Massachusetts. In retirement, he split his time between Florida, Massachusetts, and New-Brunswick.
Jean-Paul was a master craftsman who loved wood-working, enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, playing cards and especially spending time with his family and many friends.
Jean-Paul is survived by his wife Aurella of Clinton, Massachusetts and Ellenton, Florida, his children and grandchildren, Marcel, his wife Jean and grandson Cameron of Parrish, Florida, Michel, his wife Charline and granddaughter Mylѐne of Shediac, New-Brunswick, Daniel, his wife Sylvie, and grandson Luc of Shediac, New-Brunswick, his brother Noёl Poirier of Ontario Canada, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers Adѐlard, Phil, Fidѐle and Ѐmile, and sisters Alexina and Bernice.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral to be held at St. Francis Xavier Cabrini Catholic Church in Parrish, Florida on March 24, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. A gathering will be held following services at the Terra Siesta Club House to honor and remember Jean-Paul.
