April 28, 1958 – July 23, 2025
Jerry Lee Moore, 67, of Bradenton, FL, passed away on July 23, 2025, surrounded by love. Born in St. Petersburg, FL, on April 28, 1958, Jerry lived a life marked by hard work, deep friendships, and a heart as wide as the open road he loved to ride.
Jerry spent most of his life working in the dirt—installing irrigation and operating heavy machinery. He took pride in honest labor and earned the respect of those who worked alongside him. Off the clock, Jerry was most at home on his Harley-Davidson, listening to music, swapping stories, and hitting the road whenever he could. He never met a stranger and had a gift for turning a simple conversation into a lifelong friendship.
He is survived by his wife, Christie Moore; his father, Jim Moore; daughter, Beth Ann Myers; stepdaughter, Dawn Reyes; grandchildren, Olivia and Chad Myers; step-grandson, Darren Sloat; his best friend, Gary Kinder; and cherished aunts, uncles, and cousins who held a special place in his life. He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Mary Helen Moore.
Jerry was the kind of man who told you exactly how he felt—no games, no pretending. And beneath that rugged honesty was a heart that would give you his last dollar if he thought you needed it more. His presence was a force, and his absence leaves a silence that words can’t quite fill.
His legacy lives on in the stories we share, the laughs we remember, and the roads he once traveled.
