Jo Anne Walczak

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of JoAnn Walczak, age 86, of Parrish, FL and former long-term resident of Chesterton, IN on March 12, 2025. JoAnn was born on March 10, 1939 in Bloodland, MO. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

JoAnn is survived by her children, Michael Walczak (Ronda) of LaPorte, IN, Barbara Harvey (Norm) of Lakewood Ranch, FL, Marilyn Huffman of Parrish, FL; and her grandchildren, Matthew Quijada of Columbus, OH, Aaron Huffman of Berlin, Germany and Alexa Huffman of Rancho Cordova, CA. JoAnn is also survived by her siblings, Albert (Eulene) Atterberry, Jack (Karen) Atterberry, Shirley (Larry) Lipe and sister-in-law Vera Atterberry. She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry Walczak, grandchild Bryan Walczak, parents Floyd and Sylvia Pearl (Bowling) Atterberry and siblings Leon Atterberry, Roberta Biram and Clayton Atterberry.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 29 at Waynesville Memorial Chapel,

202 W Historic 66, Waynesville, MO. Visitation will take place from 10 am to 10:30 am, with ceremony beginning at 10:30 am. Immediately following the service, all family and friends are invited to a luncheon at a private residence.
