

Joanne was born in Berlin, N.H. on October 23, 1947, the daughter of the late George and Rita (Frechette) Perrault. She was the beloved wife of George J. L’Heureux, with whom she shared 57 years of marriage.
Joanne enjoyed a long career in the banking industry, working as a teller for Berlin City Bank following her graduation from Berlin High School in 1966. After a short break to have her children, she resumed work at the Berlin City Bank, where she dedicated the next 30+ years until her retirement in 2010. A skilled mathematician, Joanne took pride in using her numerical expertise to step into roles with increasing responsibility and was always eager for the next challenge.
Following their retirement, Joanne and husband George relocated to Palmetto, FL in 2016, where she was able to enjoy year-round gardening. She was also an avid reader and enjoyed lounging by the pool. Joanne cherished spending time with family. She loved to cook family meals, and her face would light up the moment family arrived, especially the grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were always greeted with the biggest hugs.
She is lovingly remembered by her husband George L’Heureux of Palmetto, FL, her daughters: Amy Poirier and husband Steven of Berlin, NH, Kay O’Brien and husband Dan of Acworth, NH; grandchildren Zachary Gosselin and wife Paige of Berlin, NH, Jacob O’Brien and wife Olivia of Brimfield, MA, Alexander Gosselin and partner Daisy Bragdon of Auburn ME, Emma O’Brien and partner Ryan of Southington, CT, Lacey Poirier and partner Troy Lacroix of Milan, NH and great-grandchildren Elliot and Maeve Gosselin of Berlin, NH.
Joanne also leaves behind siblings Phyllis Whittemore of Jacksonville, FL, Thomas Perrault and wife Ruth of Clearwater, FL and Paul Perrault of Coffeeville, MS, sister-in-law Helen Dailey and husband Tom of Sarasota, FL and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents.
