John T DeLesline

John T. DeLesline 78, of Terra Ceia passed away July 31, 2015 at Manatee Memorial Hospital. He was a life-long resident of Manatee County. John is survived by his loving and devoted wife Jan, daughters Jan DeLesline Hahn, of Orlando and Julie DeLesline Tillett and her husband Michael of Terra Ceia and son, John T DeLesline and his wife Monica of Terra Ceia. Grandson John Cody Hahn, and grand-daughter Amanda Hahn of Orlando; Michael Tillett of Tampa, Anthony Tillett of Terra Ceia and William James Tillett of Terra Ceia, and JD DeLesline, of Terra Ceia. Along with many nieces and nephews. Sisters Margie Demarest of Sarasota and Judy Shively of Bradenton.

John attended Manatee High School, and graduated from Manatee Junior College. He established DeLesline Construction Inc. in 1973. He worked in the construction business, building commercial buildings on the West Coast of Florida for the past 60 years.

Visitation will be on Thursday, August 6, 2015 from 5:30 - 7:00 at Groover Funeral Home at Mansion Memorial Park located at 1400 36th Avenue East, Ellenton. The family has asked in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to local charities.
