Thanks for all the jokes & fun trips to the Races.  You will be missed & in our prayers always.

John Oakes , my brother-in law, was a genuine "character" never without a joke or story to tell. They may not  always have been politically correct or a little off color but that was him and he so enjoyed sharing them if he liked you.  John, like me, enjoyed auto racing and we went to many, many races together;  modifieds at Owego and Five Mile Point in New York, Nascar races in Georgia, Sports Cars at Daytona and Sebring , and IndyCars at St. Petersburg in Florida.  
He had a kind heart and was a great friend and family member. He will always be remembered.
