Karen Jean Coloney

Karen (Kay) Coloney died on January 16th at 9:50pm at Manatee Memorial Hospital. Kay was born on July 1, 1944 in Schenectady, NY to Leonard and E. Marion Jaycox Seypura. She held many positions in the churches she attended and was always there to help those in need. She loved cooking, baking, word and jigsaw puzzles. They moved from Waterford, NY in 2014 and settled in Parrish, FL and became a member of Parrish United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband Burt, son Bradley (Marge) Stockwell of Troy, NY, daughter Melissa (Tim) Martin of Amsterdam, NY, sister Susan Rivera of Estero, FL, grandson Charles Stockwell and granddaughter Felicity Stockwell. There will be a private funeral service at Groover Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Parrish United Methodist Church 12180 US-301, Parrish, FL 34219 in memory of Kay. All are welcome to come for a Celebration of Kay’s Life at Parrish UMC on Friday January 21st at 10:00am.
